I wrote this gentle hand washing song to encourage children who often rush through washing their hands to slow down, use soap, and enjoy the hand-washing routine.

Later, I was delighted to discover that this little song lasts about as long as the recommended hand-washing time, while helping children to delight in the bubbly process.

Marla’s Tip - I sing this song once through while each child washes their hands. Sometimes the children pause, waiting for me to begin, or ask me to start singing this song for them while they wash their hands, with musical accompaniment.
